Specialist Support Services

Established in 2014 to provide care for those who require complex packages of care. Typically, individuals referred to Time To Care will present with Mental Health needs, Learning Disability, Autism, or other disabilities.

Our philosophy is very simple

We aim to provide an individualised package of care for each service user, which will allow them to exist within the least restrictive environment possible.

‘All service users have their own front door’

Our ethos gives them privacy and freedom of choice along with the appropriate level of care.

We have a highly trained staff team

This consists of Support Workers, Senior Support Workers, Service Managers, a Quality & Compliance Officer, Clinical Nurse Advisor and a Registered Manager, which allows us to mould each package of care to meet the specific needs of that individual.

We operate a flexible service

Responding swiftly to changing circumstances, varying our levels of input and support according to assessed needs and progression. This makes us person-centred and user focused.

Single Person Supported Living

These services are truly based around the needs of the individual and give the service user the maximum amount of choice.

ISL Developments

Time To Care operates Independent Supported Living developments across the North East of England.

Respite and Relief

In early 2025 TTC will launch a new Respite and Relief service across the North of England where we will be able to accept clients for a short period of time to either alleviate a crisis or give families or carers some much needed respite.

Active Support

At Time To Care we are committed to the Active Support model, which is applied to all our services and service users.

We offer progression from hospital to life in the community in the most appropriate environment for the individual

This can help service users who wish to reside in a specific area are assessed to be ready. Thus, the service can be used to mitigate the cost issues associated with extended placements in secure or other inpatient environments. We truly believe that we offer a viable and cost-effective alternative to hospitals for the cohort of people who are unable to move on for lack of a service such as that offered by Time To Care.

The service we offer provides for a high level of guidance and supervision, encouraging those who use it to take responsibility for their behaviour and improve self-awareness.

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our service users

We aim to assist people in developing a structured approach towards their lives. This is achieved by the service user, very often, living and working alongside care staff, carrying out day to day domestic duties, being encouraged to take part in appropriate activities, being involved in decision making processes as far as possible and being empowered and supported to live as independently as possible.
